My name is Leigh Wicker. This will be my 17th year teaching at Elba Elementary School. I taught first grade for 8 years, 6 years in Kindergarten and this will be my third year teaching 5th/6th grade. I will be teaching Reading/Vocabulary. I am originally from Troy, AL where I attended Troy University. I currently hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Elba in 2015. I am married to Mark Wicker. We have two children. Our oldest son is TJ, he is 8 and passed on from here on May 23, 2018. He has brought so much joy to our lives and we love and miss him dearly. Our youngest son is 4 and his name is Dunn. He is full of energy and loves everyone. We also have three dogs named Chip, Merle and Ferdinand.
